How to Register

We strongly recommend students attend a PEY or eSIP information session before registering to learn more about the program requirements and what to expect during the internship process. Please consult our events calendar for the information session dates and times.

Registration for the Professional Experience Year Internship Program (PEY) and the Engineering Summer Internship Program (eSIP) is open from September 9-19, 2016.

Eligible students may register online through the engineering portal.

A second registration period will open from January 6 – 12 2017 for students that were not able to register in the fall. Students that already registered in September do not need to register again.

Eligibility Requirements to Register for PEY

  • Full-time student in second or third year of their undergraduate degree and returning to their studies full-time in September 2017
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Your CGPA must be above 2.0.  If you do not meet this 2.0 CGPA recommended minimum, we suggest focusing first on your studies, and registering for PEY in January 2017.
  • Canadian citizen and permanent-resident students from the faculties of Engineering and of Arts & Science may enroll
  • International students majoring in Engineering and Computer Science (St. George Campus) must register for a Co-Op Work Permit, please view Info for International Students for more information

Eligibility Requirements to Register for eSIP

  • Full-time student in second or third year of their engineering undergraduate degree and returning to their studies full-time in September 2017
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Your CGPA must be above 2.0 for September registration – if you do not meet this requirement you can register in January 2017
  • Canadian citizen, permanent-resident, and international students may enroll
