Ottawa Industry Tour: HOTEL and BUS

Hotel

We will be staying at the Embassy Hotel in the heart of Ottawa, just a short walk away from shops and restaurants on Elgin Street and popular attractions like the Rideau Centre, Parliament Hill, and Byward Market.

Additional information:

Hotel room cost is included in your $100 trip fee
Any room service, mini-fridge items, tips and extra charges are your responsibility
2 students per hotel room
Rooms will be assigned based on stated gender.

If you'd like to share with a particular person:

- Until noon on Wednesday, February 1:
  - Each of you should be registered as usual for the trip.
  - Then each of you should send us a separate request to share which includes both of your names and utoronto email addresses. We'll do our best to accommodate, and will let you know as soon as we can confirm (which should be shortly after we've confirmed the hotel in early February).
- After noon on Wednesday, February 1:
  - Switching roommates is strongly discouraged by the hotel.
  - If there are concerns with your roommate situation, please contact ECC staff to resolve. (Contact information for ECC staff on the trip will be provided to students who are joining us.)

Bus

The bus company for this trip is Coach Canada.
Please be advised that in order not to compromise the experience of the other students, the bus will not wait for latecomers.
If you miss the bus, transportation is your responsibility and at your own expense. This includes getting to and from Ottawa.
The bus will make one stop on the way to Ottawa and one stop on the way back. Refreshments at these stops are the student's responsibility.
