PEY Co-op is U of T Engineering's flagship work-experience program that enables undergraduates to build meaningful, full-time work experience, strengthen their professional networks and enhance their interpersonal and technical competencies.

Summer Co-op Work Term

Continuous recruitment cycle (September 2025 - April 2026)
Work term starts: May 2026
Work term ends: August 2026

  • Initial work-integrated learning for Professional Experience Year (PEY) Co-op Program
  • 4-month full-time, paid work term (minimum duration 12 weeks)
  • Engineering students who have completed Year 2 are eligible
  • Students have undergone intensive workplace dynamics and integration preparation
  • Easy-to-manage and fully supported recruitment process
  • Students return to school in September

Professional Experience Year Work Term

Continuous recruitment cycle (September 2025 - June 2026)
Work term starts: any time between May and September 2026
Work term ends: any time between May and September 2027

  • 12-to-16-month, full-time, paid work term
  • Engineering students who have completed Year 3 are eligible
  • Our programs house some of the nation’s top talent
  • Students are ready for longer and more challenging projects
  • Easy-to-manage and fully supported recruitment process
