Join the ECC’s industry tour from February 19-21, 2025 for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience with some of Ottawa’s top companies and industry leaders.
Highlights of the tour:
- Two nights, three days
- Comfortable bus travel from Toronto and stay in an Ottawa hotel

Day 1 (February 19, 2025)
- Travel from Toronto to Ottawa
- Networking night with industry partners, alumni, and students doing their co-op in Ottawa

- Company tours at Synopsys, Kinaxis, Ericsson, and more
Day 3 (February 21, 2025)
- Explore Canada’s largest technology park
- Engage with 10+ employers, industry panels, and executive speakers
- Return to Toronto

Who should consider participating
- The Ottawa Industry Tour is primarily for second- and third-year U of T Engineering students currently in the Summer and PEY Co-op work terms recruitment cycle.
- UTM CompSci students coming up to their PEY are also very welcome!
- Current undergraduate students who have completed their PEY and are considering Ottawa or an Ottawa employer for their post-graduation employment are also invited to participate. We regret that due to capacity limits, we cannot include grad. students, although we appreciate the interest.
Fees
The cost of the trip to students varies every year.
What's included in your fee?
- The fee for the Ottawa Industry Tour 2025 is CAD $150.
- Bus transportation to and from Ottawa
- Bus transportation to and from selected ECC-organized activities within Ottawa
- Hotel (2 students per room)
- Some meals (alcoholic drinks excluded)
Registration
Students who are in Year 2 and Year 3 registered in PEY Co-op Program would receive an event invite email, including the link to register for the tour; or visit the U of T Co-op Portal Events & Workshops page for registration.
- Payment can be made with most major credit cards (excluding AMEX).
- After registration and payment, you will be emailed a receipt.
- Registrations may be transferred to another student on notification to events.ecc@utoronto.ca
