Our Services

The Engineering Career Centre (ECC) provides services to engineering students at U of T, connecting them with meaningful professional experiences that lead to making a positive impact in the workplace.

Professional Experience Year Co-op Program (PEY Co-op)

The ECC team runs a work-integrated learning program to connect engineering students with a wide range of industry opportunities. The Professional Experience Year Co-op Program (also known as PEY Co-op) is a degree-long program which allows students to enhance their technical competencies, strengthen their networks and build their professional experience before graduation.

ECC is a proud partner of U of T Co-op.

Engineering Career Centre’s PEY Co-op program are founding members of U of T Co-op, a community of co-op programs that gives employers access to thousands of qualified students from more than 100 academic disciplines across three campuses through one talent hub.

The Experiential Learning Commons

A new arrangement for the ECC

The ECC's offices are located in the brand new Experiential Learning Commons (ELC). We share the offices with two other U of T units which are focused on work-integrated learning, student career development and/or employer relations.

The ELC serves as a flagship space on the St. George campus for student-oriented professional development activities and for welcoming our employer partners. By joining together in one physical location, we aim to reduce costs as well as provide a seamless experience for employers recruiting students on the St. George campus. As well, the amenities for students have been significantly upgraded: come and see for yourself!
