CIE Workshop: USA Visa Requirements and Application Procedure

The Centre for International Experience has scheduled the following workshop for international students interested in visiting, studying or working the USA
Representatives of the US Consulate in Toronto will be available to conduct an information session which aims to educate students about the various classifications of US nonimmigrant visas and the application process. The following topics will be covered:
•Visa basics – What is a visa?
•The various types of U.S. non-immigrant visas and required documents necessary to meet the eligibility requirements.
•How to apply for a U.S. visa in Toronto and the required administrative procedures.
While Canadian citizens are exempt from visa requirements in most non-immigrant classifications; they do require visas in certain circumstances and these instances, as well as what documents will be required at U.S. ports of entry, will be touched upon during the session.
