Huawei: Seeds for the Future – Application Deadline

We are offering university undergraduates or fresh graduates – studying in STEM fields or other disciplines, the opportunity to join an online experience around technology innovation and cross-cultural exchange. The duration of the program is 8 days starting from August 9th to 16th. Applications are now open until July 17th, 2021 (11:59PM ET)
About the Seeds for the future program: Seeds for the Future is Huawei’s flagship global CSR program. The program was launched in 2008. This program aims to develop skilled, local ICT talent and bridge communication between countries and cultures. By sharing our ICT expertise and experiences in the global business environment, young people from different countries can learn about advanced technologies in the ICT industry and accumulate ICT expertise and skills through the Seeds for the Future program, contributing to the progress of the global ICT industry.
During the 8-day program, the participants will:
ü receive entry level and advanced courses on key technologies, including 5G, cloud computing and AI
ü experience the traditional and modern China through virtual tours of Chinese scenic spots or fast growing companies
ü hear from Huawei experts, external entrepreneurs, professors or scientists who will share perspectives on a wide range of topics from cyber security to aerospace industry
ü immerse in an interactive and dynamic classroom where group discussion, debate, round table dialogues will be arranged to ensure cross-cultural exchanges with fellows from other countries
ü participate in “Tech4Good” group project to increase social entrepreneurship, build problem solving and leadership skills through team work, and deepen the sense of social responsibility
ü get a glimpse at Huawei’s history and technological developments including virtual tours of Huawei exhibition halls, campus and stores
You will officially join the alumni community where exclusive webinars, round table dialogue, celebration event etc. will be held all year round to strengthen the sense of belonging.
