Drive to Ottawa
Free time: you may want to explore the Byward Market
Mix & Mingle: Next-Generation Networking Evening
- Brings together Ottawa-area employers and the next generation of STEM talent in a social setting, making future contact easier
- Relax and chat with your Engineering and Computer Science colleagues
- Connect with PEY Co-op students currently on work term in Ottawa who will share their knowledge of Ottawa and their experience of PEY
- Find out from O-town natives what it's like to live and work there.

CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) tour
NOKIA tour

Canadian War Museum or National Gallery of Canada

Friday, February 24

Kanata Sunrise (brunch with Kanata North Business Association)
- 'Why Ottawa'
- Up to 6 employer presentations (incl. CAE, Sanmina, RBR)
- Guest speaker: Sir Terry Matthews, Founder and Chairman, Wesley Clover International
- Networking
L-Spark Accelerator tour
Up to 4 startup tours
Drive to Toronto

4:00 - 6:00 p.m. | Free time
6:00 p.m. | Load bus at hotel. Depart for evening event at Mill Street Brew Pub
6:30-8:30 p.m. | Next-generation Networking Evening
(dinner (pre-ordered) paid by ECC, drinks at student's expense)
8:45 p.m. | Pick up at Mill Street Brew Pub
9:00 p.m. | Drop off at hotel

7:45 - 8:30 a.m. | Pick up from hotel; drive to CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service)
(breakfast is student's responsibility)
8:30 - 9:00 a.m. | CSIS screening
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. | CSIS tour
10:20 - 11:40 a.m. | Drive to Hub 350 and eat lunch there
(box lunch provided)
11:45 - 11:50 a.m. | Drive to Nokia
12:00 - 2:00 p.m. | NOKIA tour
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. | Drive to PAL Aerospace
3:30-5:00 p.m. | PAL Aerospace tour

10:00 - 11:00 a.m. | Up to 6 presentations from potential employers (including CAE, Sanmina and RBR)
11:00 - 11:30 a.m. | Guest speaker: Sir Terry Matthews, Founder and Chairman, Wesley Clover International
11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. | Q&A, networking and refreshments

12:15 - 12:45 p.m. | L-Spark Accelerator tour
12:45 - 1:45 p.m. | Wesley Clover Portfolio tours (up to 4 startup organizations)
2:30 p.m. | Load bus and drive to Toronto
(one stop; refreshments are student's responsibility)
8:00 p.m. | Arrive back on campus
